QFT Late is back with a bang as Arnie packs his big guns for a glorious 4K action packed mission to Mars.
It is 2084 and beefy construction worker Quaid (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is haunted each night by a dream that he is on Mars looking for a mysterious woman. Against his wife Lori's (Sharon Stone) wishes he visits Rekall Inc., a shady organisation who claim they can help make dreams a reality with the help of a powerful hallucinogenic drug. However, the drug awakens a memory that was erased from Quaid's mind which leads him on a dangerous quest to discover his true self against pitiless killers, a Martian despot and enemies even closer to home.
Loosely based on the Philip K Dick short story We Can Remember It for You Wholesale, Paul Verhoeven's Total Recall is a subversive satire that tackles politics, war and propaganda while also delivering the pure entertainment and cartoonish violence you expect from an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.
