Answers to some of your questions.

QFT is reopening on Friday 7 August 2020. Tickets aren't on sale yet but we'll let you know when they are. We can't wait to see you back at the cinema!

We have outlined our new measures here

Please contact us on qftmanager@qub.ac.uk and we'll be happy to help.

Yes, if your gift card/voucher expired between Tuesday 17 March and Friday 7 August, we are adding the appropriate number of months of our closure to all existing gift card / vouchers. If you have a new QFT Gift Card we will be able to do this automatically. If you have a Gift Voucher, we ask that you first send us an email on qftmanager@qub.ac.uk and we will give further instructions on how to convert your voucher to a card and extend its expiry.

Please contact us on qftmanager@qub.ac.uk and we'll be happy to help.

We will be extending your QFT Membership by 6 months, to cover the period we’ve been closed and to give you a little extra to thank you for bearing with us during these unprecedented times.

If you bought or renewed your membership during our closure – thank you! We will start your 12 months on Fri 7 Aug and will add an extra month to your membership as a thank you.

We will be cashless initially. We will only accept credit, debit, or gift cards and other forms of contactless payment. We will review this measure weekly.

Yes. For many, it wouldn’t be a trip to QFT without a glass of wine. All food and drink is for consumption within the screen to ensure we can practise safe social distancing in the foyer. We will review this measure weekly.

Not initially. Tickets will be restricted to be booked online only. The only exception to this rule is for customers who are not part of any of our membership schemes who opted for a complimentary ticket in lieu of a refund. They will be able to book using their complimentary ticket in the cinema. We will review this measure weekly.

Within the cinema foyer we will have clear floor markers to ensure aa safe distance is maintained. We will also have clearly marked queues for the Box Office, bar, kiosk, toilets and screens. In the screens, we have implemented a new dynamic form of allocated seating which blocks off three seats on either side of every booking. We've also reduced our capacity, blocking off every other row.

We are staggering screening times to reduce traffic within the cinema to ensure that social distancing can be maintained.
